Our Therapists

Chan Brown, PT

Chan Brown is a co-owner and Physical Therapist for Crossroads Rehab. 

Chan grew up in Jackson Mississippi and recieved his undergraduate degree from Ole Miss. He then went on to recieve his Masters degree in Physical Therapy and graduated in 2000. 

Jedd grew up in Michigan, but has lived in Mississippi for the past 8 years along with his wife and four children. He is a Physical Therapist here in Tupelo, and has been employed with Crossroads since 2006. 

Jedd is certified to practice Kinesio Taping, and is proficient to practice the Mackenzie Method as well as the Graston Technique. Jedd often performs many of the Ergoscience testings as well as Work Steps and Functional Capacity Exams. 

Jedd recieved his undergraduate degree from Bringham Young University in 2001. He went on to recieve his Masters of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in 2003. 

Jedd Thorderson, MPT, CKTP

Jamey attended Itawamba Community College and recieved her Associates Degree in 2007. She then went on to recieve her undergraduate degree from the Mississippi University for Women in 2009. She recieved her Doctors of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Tenneessee School of Health Science in 2012. 

Jamey Sims is a Doctor of Physical Therapy here in Tupelo. She grew up in Amory, Mississippi and has been with Crossroads since August of 2012. 

Jamey Sims, DPT

Jamey is proficient to practice the Graston Technique as well as Kinesio Taping. She also participates in administering Work Steps testing and Mackenzie Method. 

Kevin Park is an Occupational Therapist and co-owner of Crossroads Rehabilitation Services. Kevin is also a Certified Hand Therapist, having recieved this achievement through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission 10 years ago. 

Kevin grew up in the Pontotoc area, and graduated from PHS. He attended Itawamba Comunity College as well as Mississippi College and the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he recieved his B.S. 

in Occupational Therapy in 1994.

Kevin is a Member of the Mississippi Occupational Therapy Association and the American Society of Hand Therapists. He is also experienced in the treatment and trauma of the hand. This includes repetitive strain injuries and age related conditions involving the hands. 

Kevin provides work related testing using several methods including Ergoscience, Work Steps, and BTE testing. He also works with Ergoscience alongside with physicians to provide and train patients for Impairment Ratings and Evaluations.

Kevin and his wife and four children live in Tupelo and are active members at Hope Church. He also advocates a healthy lifestyle and participates in running and cycling and has previously competed in several triatholons. 

Amye Jo Nichols, LPTA

Amye Jo grew up in Mississippi and graduated from Mooreville in 1999. After graduation she completed her degree at ICC. Amye achieved her Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in 2003 and has worked for Crossroads since 2006.

Amye Jo is proficient to practive both cervical and lumbar exercises through the McKenzie Method. She is also proficient to practice the Graston Technique. Amye Jo has also completed many other courses focusing on shoulder and knee rehab.

Laurie Patterson, LPTA

Laurie grew up in Texas, and moved to Mississippi in 1991. She attended Itawamba Community College to recieve her licensure to be a Physical Therapist Assistant in 1996. Laurie has worked for Crossroads since 2005.

Laurie has attended various orthopedic courses and is proficient to practice both cervical and lumbar exercises using the McKenzie Method. She is also trained in using the Graston Technique. 

Laurie is an active member of Gumtree Presbyterian Church along with her husband and two sons. 

Karen Wimer Robbins, COTA

Karen is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for Crossroads Rehab. 

Karen grew up in Shreveport, Loisianna and later moved to Pontotoc, Mississippi. She attended PHS and then went on to Itawamba Community College. She recieved her degree in 2011.

Karen is proficient to practice the Graston Technique and is experienced in working in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. 

Karen is an avid exercise enthusiast. She enjoys running, biking, and training for races and triathalons. She and her husband currently live in the Tupelo area.
